Smoothie od bobičastog voća/ Summer berry Smoothie

Prvi puta sam probala Smoothie kada sam bila u Dublinu, u ljeto 2008.godine.
Uobičajeno prijepodne uz šetnjicu, već poznati bar iza ugla našeg hostela – polazna točka našeg cjelodnevnog izleta. Uz pokoji Donuts u ruke i Smoothie zapakiran u malene plastične čašice iz koje izviru po dvije plastične slamčice, zaputili bismo se u daljnje istraživanje predivnog grada vesele glazbe i Guinness piva. Smoothie je bio pravo voćno osvježenje, voćni fiks za rano jutro, vitaminski napitak i antioksidans koji nam je pomogao izdržati cjelodnevno razgledavanje koje je trajalo danima. Novi okus!
Kažu da Smoothie potječe još iz nama davnih 1960-ih godina kada je po prvi puta u Americi ponuđen kao zdrava varijanta Milk shakeova koji su bili uobičajeno spravljeni s sladoledima. No, tek 1990-ih godina postao je popularan. 
Vjerujte mi da ćete ga zavolit bilo da je izmiksan s svježim ili zamrznutim voćem, sa tekućim jogurtom ili nekim voćnim sokom. Pustite maštu na volju i kombinirajte :)




Smoothie od bobičastog voća
(za 2 osobe, oko ½ litre)

     Potrebni sastojci:

·         250 g svježih jagoda
....................................................................................................................................................
·         120 g svježih malina
....................................................................................................................................................
·         60 g svježeg crvenog ribizla
....................................................................................................................................................
·         1 manja jabuka, narezana
....................................................................................................................................................
·         1 nektarina, narezana
....................................................................................................................................................
·         1 žličica tekućeg meda ili kristal šećera
....................................................................................................................................................
·         180 g neutralnog tekućeg jogurta
....................................................................................................................................................


      Priprema:

·         Voće operite pod malzom hladne vode pa očistite od peteljki ili koštica.

·         Sve sastojke ubacite u blender pa miksajte oko 1 minutu, ili dok se svi sastojci ne spoje u finu gustu tekuću smjesu.

·         Poslužite ohlađeno.

Smoothies are blended beverages that are often mixed with fresh fruit, crushed or shaved ice, frozen fruit, or other fruit juices. Smoothies usually do not contain ice cream (that’s what milk shakes are for). Smoothies date back to the 1960s in US when they were offered as healthy alternatives to milk shakes but it wasn’t until the 1990s that they began to really catch on.
I tried Smoothie when I was in Dublin (Ireland) in summer 2008. You will love it, so blend your own mixture of yogurt or fruit juice, fresh or frozen fruits :)


Summer berry Smoothie
(makes 2 cups (500 ml))

     You need:

·         250 g fresh strawberries

·         120 g fresh raspberries
....................................................................................................................................................
·         60 g fresh currants
....................................................................................................................................................
·         1 small apple, diced
.....................................................................................................................................................
·         1 nectarine, diced
....................................................................................................................................................
·         1 tsp sugar or honey, optional
....................................................................................................................................................
·         180 g natural liquid yogurt
....................................................................................................................................................


      Steps:

·         Wash the fruit and clean the stalks or pits.

·         Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
...................................................................................................................................................
·         Serve chilled.

  3. Majo, kao da si fotkala našu užinu. Juče sam pisala kod Katarine kako je ovaj smoothie idealan način da suprug pojede voće, i ja ga baš ovakvog pravim u poslednje vreme, samo što stavim malo smrznutih jagoda, ribizli i malina, pa bude leden, a pridodam i bananu. Nemam kišobran, ali sam juče servirla u čašama za Martini. Treba zamrznuti to voće za ovo energetsko piće kad prođe sezona. Od kad ga jedemo ne traži nam se sladoled. Super je!Meni je on otkriće leta.

  6. I'm jealous of you currants, I love them so much but rarely see them in the market here and if so they are so expensive.
    My grandmother had several bushes and a plentiful crop every year, we'd eat them with sugar, they are excellent in baked goods as well.
    This drink looks super delicious.Yummy

  8. Odlično ! Ljeti su mi ovo najdraži napitci , prije svega za doručak ali dobro dođe i tijekom cijelog dana. Ovo kod tebe mi super zvuči, a izgleda prekrasno, ljetno i veselo, super !
