Potrebni sastojci:
3 kg crvenih paprika (Rog
paprike)
6 dl vode
2 dl alkoholnog octa (Badel
9%)
1 puna žlica soli
1 puna žlica šećera
3 žlice papra u zrnu
običnog ulja
Priprema:
Paprike dobro operite i posušite čistom kuhinjskom krpom.
Prepolovite i očistite od sjemenki pa poslažite u nauljen
lim, malo ih poprskajte uljem i pecite u prethodno zagrijanoj pećnici 20 minuta
sa svake strane.
U međuvremenu staklenke i poklopce operite, stavite u
ležeći položaj u veliku teču, napunite teču do 2/3 vodom i stavite da se
staklenke steriliziraju u vodenoj kupelji oko 30 minuta na laganoj vatri.
Izvadite iz vodene kupelji.
Pečene paprike izvadite iz pećnice i posložite ih u
sterilizirane staklenke.
Pripremite smjesu od vode, octa, šećera, soli i papra.
Dobro promiješajte dok se šećer ne otopi. Ne kuhati
ovu smjesu niti je zagrijavati na bilo koji način.
Pripremljenu smjesu izliti po paprikama u staklenci 2 cm
ispod ruba. Odmah zatvoriti poklopcima.
Čuvajte u hladnjaku.

rim.
Immediately close the lids.

ReplyDeleteNa sreću ove paprike stižu iz kuhinja moje mame i suprugove mame, pa još uvek nisam u svetu paprika. Volim ih naročito zimi, kada onako crvene i jarke ulepšaju sto. Kad bi zimnicu pravila, one bi bile na prvom mestu. Divnih li teglica!

ReplyDeleteHow long can this be kept in the refrigerator? Is it possible to can this in a water bath for long term storage outside of the refrigerator? It looks so yummy and sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteYou can keep it in the refregerator for few months.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to stay them for longer, they must be thermally processed: pour cold water in a pot (use big pot and pour the water to half). Put open jars with peppers in cold water and bring to boil. Cook 20 minutes. When they're done, just quickly close jars. Let them cool on room temperature. You can now storage them in refregerator or in cold dark place (without sun) - this way they can be kept for 1 year.
